To advance to the championship game, Krause won 6-5 over Mats Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2023 Match Town Trophy in Jonkoping, Sweden; and won 9-8 over Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Match Town Trophy in Jonkoping, Sweden;
 
Krause finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Krause defeated Axel Landelius (Mjoelby, SWE) 6-2, then won 8-6 against Jonathan Vilandt (Hvidovre, DEN) and 10-4 against Axel Rosander (Norrkoping, SWE). Krause won 6-4 against Matias Hanninen (Jeonsu, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Match Town Trophy Championship title, Krause earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 63 spots the World Ranking Standings into 132nd place overall with 20.979 total points. Krause ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.250 points earned so far this season.
