Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB) lost 6-5 to Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Curlers Corner U20 Womens Junior Bonspiel, held September 29 - October 1, 2023 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Shannon won 7-2 over Shianna Lind (Innisfail, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Curlers Corner U20 Womens Junior Bonspiel in Calgary, Alberta;
 
Shannon finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shannon defeated Makayla Cook (Leduc, AB) 9-4, then won 6-4 against Irelande McMahon (Calgary, AB). Shannon went on to lose 7-2 against Richards. Shannon responded with a 7-3 win over Cook in their final qualifying round match.
