McCarville finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Robyn Despins (Thunder Bay, NO) 4-2, then went on to lose 6-2 against Bonot. McCarville responded with a 6-2 win over Rajala. McCarville won 6-5 against Chris Silver (Thunder Bay, NO) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Performance Kia Charity Open, McCarville take home 2.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize.
