To advance to the championship game, Hayward won 6-2 over Julia Van Ryssel (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals   of the 2023 Heather MJCT Bonspiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; 
 
Hayward finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hayward defeated Hannah Patton (Winnipeg, MB) 10-1, then won 9-0 against Gina Giasson (Winnipeg, MB). Hayward went on to lose 6-5 against Terrick. Hayward responded with a 6-2 win over Rylie Buchalter (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
