To advance to the championship game, Martin/Laycock won 8-7 over Jill Springer/Garret Springer (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2024 Aly Jenkins Mixed Doubles Memorial in Martensville, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 6-5 over Christie Gamble/Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals.
 
Martin/Laycock finished 4-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin/Laycock defeated BriAnna Weldon/Sean Franey (Denver, CO) 12-8, then won 9-1 against Brett Barber/Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) and 7-6 against Koana/Aoki. Martin/Laycock won 7-6 against Samantha Yachiw-Omelian/Jordan Raymond (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Aly Jenkins Mixed Doubles Memorial, Martin/Laycock take home 19.250 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize.
