Marks finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marks defeated Michelle Hartwell (Sherwood Park, AB) 9-5, then won 10-4 against Muise and 9-1 against Kaitlyn Bowman (Calgary , AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Ladies Alberta Open, Marks take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize.
