Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO) lost 7-6 to Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, held November 10 - 15, 2023 at the Curl Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Strawhorn won 11-4 over Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2024 Scottish Curling Junior Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland, Scotland;

Strawhorn finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strawhorn defeated Fraser Swanston (Forfar, SCO) 8-1, then went on to lose 11-2 against Craik. Strawhorn responded with a 8-1 win over Callum Grant (Greenacres, SCO). Strawhorn won 8-1 against Finlay Rutherford (Kinross, SCO), then won 7-3 against Ethan Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO). Strawhorn went on to lose 7-6 against Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO). Strawhorn responded with a 7-2 win over Carson in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, Strawhorn take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Strawhorn did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Strawhorn ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
