Tia Laurie (Dumfries, SCO) run at the 2024 Scottish Curling Junior Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-8 loss to Robyn Munro (Stranraer, SCO). of the 2024 Scottish Curling Junior Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Laurie finished 8-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Laurie defeated Ishbel McCartney (Dumfries, SCO) 12-4, then won 12-6 against Carla Morris (Dumfries, SCO) and 8-4 against Cara Thomson (Perth, SCO). Laurie went on to lose 9-3 against Callie Soutar (Forfar, SCO). Laurie responded with a 12-5 win over Amy Seftor (Edinburgh, SCO). Laurie won 17-1 against Jessica Sharp (Perth, SCO), then won 9-1 against Layla Huntly (Dumfries, SCO) and 10-3 against Jodi Leigh Bass (Dumfries, SCO). Laurie won 6-5 against Munro in their final qualifying round match.
 
Laurie earned 2.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, moving up 30 spots the World Ranking Standings into 183rd place overall with 4.765 total points. Laurie ranks 174th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.250 points earned so far this season.
