Ishbel McCartney (Dumfries, SCO) finished 5-4 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCartney lost 12-4 to Tia Laurie (Dumfries, SCO), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Jodi Leigh Bass (Dumfries, SCO). McCartney lost 10-7 to Callie Soutar (Forfar, SCO). McCartney lost 9-1 to Robyn Munro (Stranraer, SCO) where McCartney responded with a 11-1 win over Jessica Sharp (Perth, SCO). McCartney won 14-3 against Cara Thomson (Perth, SCO), then won 10-3 against Amy Seftor (Edinburgh, SCO) and 10-8 against Layla Huntly (Dumfries, SCO). McCartney won 11-2 against Carla Morris (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

McCartney earned 0.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, McCartney did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
