Matthew Lannoye (Portage, WI) qualified for the 2024 U21 Junior Metropolis Open - National Qualifier playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Caiden Rose (Fargo, ND). of the 2024 U21 Junior Metropolis Open - National Qualifier in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, United States;

Lannoye finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lannoye defeated Carson McMullin (Eau Claire, WI) 8-1, then went on to lose 9-8 against Mason Guentzel (St. Paul, MN). Lannoye responded with a 8-2 win over Carson Kopp (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.

Lannoye ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
