Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL) finished 5-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Verreycken defeated Gabor Eszol (Budapest, HUN) 8-5, then won 9-4 against P.N. Raju (Hyderabad, IN) and 5-4 against Sebastiaan Dalle (Zemst, BEL). Verreycken won 7-2 against PaweÅ Hertman (Lodz, POL), then won 8-4 against Matias Hanninen (Joensuu, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WCT Belgium Men's Challenge Championship title, Verreycken earned 2.750 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 53 spots the World Ranking Standings into 207th place overall with 7.437 total points. Verreycken ranks 205th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.750 points earned so far this season.
