To advance to the championship game, Miura won 9-2 over Mami Onodera (Sapporo, JPN) in the semifinals
 
Miura finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Miura lost 7-5 to Nana Noguchi (Kitami, JPN), then responded with a 8-6 win over Kawamura. Miura won 10-1 against Shiori Nishinaga (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Japan Intercollegiate Curling Championship Championship title, Miura earned 3.750 world rankings points. Miura move up 23 spots after posting a net gain of 2.539 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 148th overall with 9.071 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
