To advance to the championship game, Wrana won 6-5 over Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in the semifinals of the Princess Auto Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
Wrana finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wrana defeated Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) 9-2, then won 8-3 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Wrana went on to lose 7-4 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Wrana responded with a 8-7 win over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Wrana won 5-4 against Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Princess Auto Players' Championship, Wrana take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $40,000CDN prize. Wrana move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 32.5 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 6th overall with 271.750 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
