Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) run at the Princess Auto Players' Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the Princess Auto Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Mouat finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Brad Jacobs (Winnipeg, MB) 9-0, then won 8-5 against Gushue. Mouat went on to lose 8-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB). Mouat responded with a 7-5 win over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Mouat won 5-4 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mouat earned 42.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Princess Auto Players' Championship, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Mouat ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 394.000 points earned so far this season.
