Warkentin won 6-4 against Chris Silver (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 10-4 against Ian Deschene (Sudbury, ON) and 8-3 against Mike Assad (Copper Cliff, ON). Warkentin won 10-7 against Chandler, then won 10-5 against Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
