Warkentin won 6-4 against Chris Silver (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 10-4 against Ian Deschene (Sudbury, ON) and 8-3 against Mike Assad (Copper Cliff, ON). Warkentin won 10-7 against Chandler, then won 10-5 against Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Warkentin earned 2.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Northern Ontario Tankard, moving up 37 spots the World Ranking Standings into 233rd place overall with 6.188 total points. Warkentin ranks 223rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.688 points earned so far this season.
