Jiyoon Kim (Seoul, KOR) finished 5-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim lost 6-5 to Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS), then responded with a 6-4 win over Sophie Jackson (Stirling, SCO). Kim went on to lose 8-5 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Kim lost 6-4 to Kadriana Lott (Winnipeg, CAN) where Kim responded with a 9-3 win over Zuzana Paulova (Prague, CZE). Kim won 7-5 against Rebecca Hamilton (McFarland, USA), then won 7-6 against Vanessa Tonoli (Zoetermeer, NED). Kim went on to lose 8-5 against Courtney Smith (Naseby, NZL). Kim responded with a 7-5 win over Ying Yang (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Kim earned 20.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 840th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 20.626 after improving upon their best so far this season. Kim ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 86.252 points earned so far this season.
