Otaegi lost 9-3 to Kristin Moen Skaslien (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Otaegi earned 4.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 840th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.376 after improving upon their best so far this season. Otaegi ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 43.876 points earned so far this season.
