Charlie Ryan (Melbourne, AUS) finished 2-5 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan defeated Dan Ghergie (Bucharest, ROU) 12-3, then went on to lose 6-2 against Aleix Raubert (Puigcerda, ESP). Ryan lost 12-1 to Daehyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Ryan lost 9-4 to Lorinc Tatar (Budapest, HUN). Ryan lost 9-1 to Vitek Chabicovsky (Prague, CZE) where Ryan responded with a 14-2 win over Slovenia's Ernest Erjavec Bizjak. Ryan went on to lose 8-1 against Axel Landelius (Mjoelby, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Ryan earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 22 of the event schedule, Ryan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ryan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
