Lorinc Tatar (Budapest, HUN) qualified for the 2024 World Junior-B Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, USA).
 
Tatar finished 5-2 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tatar lost 4-3 to Daehyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR), then responded with a 6-3 win over Vitek Chabicovsky (Prague, CZE). Tatar went on to lose 7-6 against Axel Landelius (Mjoelby, SWE). Tatar responded with a 9-4 win over Charlie Ryan (Melbourne, AUS). Tatar won 9-3 against Aleix Raubert (Puigcerda, ESP), then won 16-1 against Dan Ghergie (Bucharest, ROU) and 16-0 against Slovenia's Ernest Erjavec Bizjak in their final qualifying round match.
 
Tatar earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the World Junior-B Curling Championships. For week 22 of the event schedule, Tatar did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tatar ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
