10-2 to Ryo Aoki (Sapporo, JPN), droppimg another game, 5-4 to Aidos Alliyar (Almaty, KAZ) where Frynia responded with a 6-4 win over Matthaus Hofer (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Frynia went on to lose 6-5 against Selahattin Eser (Erzurum, TUR). Frynia lost 7-2 to Johnson Tao (Edmonton, CAN). Frynia lost 8-3 to Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) in their final qualifying round match.
