Cathy Auld (Kingston, ON) finished 2-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Auld defeated Sierra Sutherland (Ottawa, ON) 9-4, then went on to lose 6-4 against Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON). Auld responded with a 9-6 win over Julia Markle (London, ON). Auld went on to lose 9-8 against Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON). Auld lost 9-2 to Amanda Gebhardt (Listowel, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Auld earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
