Howard finished 5-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Julia Markle (London, ON) 9-7, then won 9-7 against Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) and 7-6 against Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 10-4 against Inglis. Howard responded with a 5-4 win over Armstrong to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 8-3 against Duncan to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
