Schwaller went on to lose 6-5 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Schwaller lost 8-7 to Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO). Schwaller lost 7-6 to Marc Muskatewitz (Fuessen, GER). Schwaller lost 8-1 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
