Takahashi finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Takahashi defeated Katsuyuki Ohara (Chubu, JPN) 10-1, then won 7-6 against Hitoshi Ishihara (Chubu, JPN) and 5-3 against Tamotsu Matsumura (Chubu, JPN). Takahashi won 10-4 against Takashi Kawahara (Chubu, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Chubu Curling Championships Championship title, Takahashi earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 171 spots the World Ranking Standings into 265th place overall with 4.641 total points. Takahashi ranks 219th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.125 points earned so far this season.
