To advance to the championship game, Reese-Hansen/Chester won 6-2 over Sasha Wilson/Alex Horvath (Victoria, BC) in the semifinals of the 2023 BC Mixed Doubles Championship in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-0 over Holly Hafeli/Mitchell Kopytko (Kamloops, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 BC Mixed Doubles Championship in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;
