Young finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Young defeated Reese Morison (St. Albert, AB) 7-3, then won 10-1 against Ella Cardinal (Calgary, AB) and 5-4 against Whitbread. Young won 6-2 against Abby Desormeau (Okotoks, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
