Cale Dunbar (Brandon, MB) finished 2-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunbar defeated Chris Bridges (Rivers, MB) 10-5, then won 8-5 against Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Viterra West 2 Men's Regionals Championship title, Dunbar earned 3.250 world rankings points.
