Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN) lost 9-8 to Kotoka Segawa (Morioka, JPN) in the Final of the Tohoku Curling Championships, held December 8 - 10, 2023 in Tohoku, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Nakamura won 11-4 over Moe Sakura (Tohoku, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Tohoku Curling Championships in Tohoku, Japan;

Nakamura finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nakamura defeated Mizuho Kumagai (Tohoku, JPN) 8-2, then won 9-4 against Yuri Sakai (Tohoku, JPN) and 4-3 against Juri Kojima (Tohoku, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Tohoku Curling Championships, Nakamura take home 2.750 world rankings points, remaining in 46th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.625 after improving upon their best so far this season.
