Atsuki Akimoto (Hokkaido, JPN) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Akimoto defeated Hazuki Kimura (Kitami, JPN) 8-2, then went on to lose 6-4 against Kohane Tsuruga (Sapporo, JPN). Akimoto lost 8-2 to Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) where Akimoto responded with a 5-4 win over Wakaba Kawamura (Obihiro, JPN). Akimoto went on to lose 9-2 against Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN). Akimoto lost 7-5 to Miyuki Kawamura (Hokkaido, JPN). Akimoto lost 5-1 to Mayu Minami (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Akimoto earned 0.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 21 of the event schedule, Akimoto did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Akimoto ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
