To advance to the championship game, Minami won 9-3 over Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Hokkaido Curling Championships in Sapporo, Japan;
 
Minami finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Minami defeated Kohane Tsuruga (Sapporo, JPN) 7-3, then won 1-0 against Hazuki Kimura (Kitami, JPN) and 7-2 against Miyuki Kawamura (Hokkaido, JPN). Minami won 6-4 against Miura. Minami went on to lose 6-5 against Tabata. Minami lost 7-0 to Wakaba Kawamura (Obihiro, JPN) where Minami responded with a 5-1 win over Atsuki Akimoto (Hokkaido, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Hokkaido Curling Championships, Minami take home 2.750 world rankings points, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 97th place overall with 24.711 total points. Minami ranks 94th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.250 points earned so far this season.
