After advancing directly to the championship game, Laura Dwyer/Steve Emt (Oconomowoc, WI) lost 7-6 to Batuyun Uranchimeg/Matt Thums (Burnsville, MN) in the Final of the USA Curling Wheelchair Mixed Doubles National Championship, held January 4 - 7, 2024 at the Fort Wayne Curling Club in Fort Wayne, United States.
 
Dwyer/Emt finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dwyer/Emt defeated Uranchimeg/Thums 8-4, then won 8-7 against Pam Wilson/David Samsa (Westminster, CO) and 9-5 against Penny Ricker/Shawn Sadowski (Portage, WI). Dwyer/Emt won 1-0 against Stacy Bates/Dan Rose (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Dwyer/Emt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
