Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) qualified for the 2024 St. Galler Elite Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-3 against Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA). of the 2024 St. Galler Elite Challenge in St. Gallen, Switzerland;

Gosgens finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gosgens defeated Christian Bangerter (Bern, SUI) 7-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER). Gosgens responded with a 8-2 win over Ribotta. Gosgens won 5-1 against Manuel Jermann (Arlesheim, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Gosgens earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Galler Elite Challenge.
