Lesley Young (Forfar, SCO) finished 4-6 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Young lost 9-0 to Rebecca Morrison (Stirling , SCO), then responded with a 10-5 win over Lucy Blair (Stirling, SCO). Young won 12-5 against Jodi Leigh Bass (Dumfries, SCO). Young went on to lose 11-4 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). Young lost 4-3 to Robyn Munro (Stirling, SCO). Young lost 9-3 to Morrison where Young responded with a 9-1 win over Blair. Young won 9-3 against Leigh Bass. Young went on to lose 9-5 against Henderson. Young lost 7-6 to Munro in their final qualifying round match.

Young earned 3.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 29 of the event schedule, Young did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Young ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
