Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO) won 9-2 over Rebecca Morrison (Stirling , SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Championships, held February 4 - 10, 2024 in Dumfries, Scotland.
Henderson finished 9-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Henderson defeated Robyn Munro (Stirling, SCO) 9-3, then won 11-2 against Jodi Leigh Bass (Dumfries, SCO) and 8-3 against Morrison. Henderson won 11-4 against Lesley Young (Forfar, SCO), then won 8-3 against Lucy Blair (Stirling, SCO) and 8-7 against Munro. Henderson won 8-2 against Leigh Bass. Henderson went on to lose 7-4 against Morrison. Henderson responded with a 9-5 win over Young. Henderson won 7-4 against Blair in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Scottish Curling Championships Championship title, Henderson earned 18.750 world rankings points, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 58.500 total points. Henderson ranks 47th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 58.500 points earned so far this season.
