Melanie Hoernberg (Harnosand, SWE) qualified for the 2024 Swedish U21 Junior National Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 12-0 against Matilda Wigg Lindberg (Sundbyberg, SWE).

Hoernberg finished 1-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hoernberg defeated Ida Oehlen (Sundsvall, SWE) 7-2, then went on to lose 11-1 against Filippa Burman Fesse (Fyris, SWE). Hoernberg lost 12-1 to Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Hoernberg earned 0.188 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Hoernberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
