Peterson finished 6-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB) 10-2, then went on to lose 13-1 against Shaela Hayward (Carman, MB). Peterson responded with a 9-4 win over Emily Cherwinski (Winnipeg, MB). Peterson won 10-4 against Kristy Watling (East St. Paul, MB). Peterson went on to lose 8-6 against Lawes. Peterson responded with a 8-4 win over Jolene Campbell (Winnipeg, MB). Peterson won 5-3 against Cameron, then won 7-3 against Zoey Terrick (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
