Smith finished 4-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Smith lost 6-5 to Jocelyn Adams-Moss (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 10-2 win over Mackenzie Mitchell (Halifax, NS). Smith won 7-2 against Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS), then won 5-3 against Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) and 8-3 against Jessica Daigle (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Smith earned 11.250 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Smith did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Smith ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
