Melodie Forsythe (Moncton, NB) run at the 2024 New Brunswick Scotties came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-4 loss to Melissa Adams (Fredericton, NB). of the 2024 New Brunswick Scotties in Oromocto, New Brunswick, Canada;

Forsythe finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forsythe lost 10-7 to Carly Smith (Fredericton, NB), then responded with a 10-7 win over Abby Burgess (Oromocto, NB). Forsythe won 9-8 against Adams, then won 8-3 against Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB) and 11-1 against Smith. Forsythe went on to lose 9-3 against Quillian in their final qualifying round match.

Forsythe earned 2.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the New Brunswick Scotties, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 134th place overall with 11.828 total points. Forsythe ranks 124th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.750 points earned so far this season.
