McDonald finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald defeated Graham 8-2, then won 4-1 against Colton Olafson (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-5 against Jace Freeman (Virden, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
