Takumi Maeda (Kitami, JPN) run at the 2024 ZEH-NOH Japan Curling Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-5 loss to Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). of the 2024 ZEH-NOH Japan Curling Championship in Tokoro, Japan;
 
Maeda finished 6-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maeda defeated Hayato Sato (Sapporo, JPN) 7-6, then won 10-7 against Kohsuke Hirata (Kitami, JPN) and 10-1 against Hiromitsu Fujinaka (Okayama, JPN). Maeda won 6-3 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN), then won 6-2 against Kounosuke Takahashi (Nagano, JPN) and 12-6 against Yanagisawa. Maeda went on to lose 9-5 against Shinya Abe (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Maeda earned 18.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the ZEH-NOH Japan Curling Championship. Maeda move up 12 spots after posting a net gain of 12.375 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 44th overall with 74.125 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
