Kitazawa responded with a 7-4 win over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Kitazawa won 8-4 against Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Kitazawa earned 24.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the ZEH-NOH Japan Curling Championship.
