Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) run at the 2024 Swiss National Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Switzerland's Andrin Schnider. of the 2024 Swiss National Championship in Geneve-Thonex, Switzerland;

Brunner responded with a 8-2 win over Jan Tanner (Zug, SUI). Brunner won 8-3 against Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Brunner earned 25.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Swiss National Championship.
