Farbelow finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Farbelow defeated Kenneth Starkey (Chaska, MN) 7-3, then won 8-1 against Jeff Wright (Chicago, IL) and 10-1 against Jon Schiestel (Greeley, CO). Farbelow won 8-2 against Timothy Ho (Wayland, MA), then won 9-2 against Todd Ussatis (Bismarck, ND) and 9-3 against Matt Aro (Madison, WI). Farbelow won 4-3 against Kent Arrell (Rochester, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
