Erica Cull/Kevin Garand (Montreal, QC) finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cull/Garand defeated Lauren Cheal/Greg Cheal (Sherbrooke, QC) 8-5, then won 9-5 against Chantal Robichaud/Hugues Demol (Pointe-Claire, QC). Cull/Garand went on to lose 11-10 against Kelly Tremblay/Pierre Lanoue (Boucherville, MTL). Cull/Garand responded with a 7-6 win over Marie-Claude Comeau/Simon Hebert (Valleyfield, MTL) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Curling Quebec Mixed Doubles playoffs earned Cull/Garand 2.250 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Cull/Garand did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cull/Garand ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
