Messenzehl responded with a 8-2 win over Ilknur Urusan (Erzurum, TUR). Messenzehl went on to lose 8-6 against Myla Plett (Sherwood Park, CAN). Messenzehl responded with a 5-4 win over Torhild Bjoernstad (Oppdal, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Messenzehl earned 6.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Messenzehl did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Messenzehl ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
