Tao lost 6-3 to Johnson Tao (Edmonton, CAN) where Tao responded with a 6-4 win over Wesley Wendling (Wausau, USA). Tao won 10-3 against Sam Flanagan (Naseby, NZL). Tao went on to lose 6-4 against Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO). Tao lost 9-3 to Lukas Hostmaelingen (Oslo, NOR). Tao lost 9-1 to Italy's Stefano Gilli in their final qualifying round match.

Tao earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Tao did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tao ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
