Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB) finished 3-3 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs lost 6-5 to Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE), then responded with a 5-3 win over Takumi Maeda (Tokoro, JPN). Jacobs went on to lose 7-2 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Jacobs responded with a 8-1 win over Tyler Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Jacobs won 5-2 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) to advance to a C-Qualifier game where they lost 7-6 against John Epping (Sudbury, NO) in their final qualifying round match.

Jacobs earned 7.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 12 of the event schedule, Jacobs did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jacobs ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
