Stefano Gilli (Pinerolo, ITA) finished 2-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gilli lost 9-1 to Stefano Spiller (Bormio, ITA), droppimg another game, 8-2 to Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Gilli lost 4-3 to Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA) where Gilli responded with a 5-4 win over Marco Onnis (Pinerolo, ITA). Gilli won 8-0 against Giacomo Colli (Cortina dâAmpezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Gilli earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 29 of the event schedule, Gilli did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gilli ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
