Dylan Derksen (Martensville, SK) lost 8-2 to Matthew Drewitz (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the Saskatchewan U20 Junior Provincials, held February 21 - 25, 2024 at the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Derksen won 7-3 over Lane Zuravloff (Yorkton, SK) in the semifinals of the 2024 Saskatchewan U20 Junior Provincials in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Derksen finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Derksen defeated Zuravloff 8-2, then won 9-6 against Ethan Jones (Regina, SK) and 8-1 against Dayne Heisler (Moose Jaw, SK). Derksen won 10-6 against Rogan Snow (Saskatoon, SK). Derksen went on to lose 8-5 against Drewitz. Derksen responded with a 8-5 win over Drewitz in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 31 of the event schedule, Derksen did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 227th to 230th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 4.875 total points. Derksen ranks 231st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.875 points earned so far this season.
