Matthew Drewitz (Saskatoon, SK) won 8-2 over Dylan Derksen (Martensville, SK) in the Final of the Saskatchewan U20 Junior Provincials, held February 21 - 25, 2024 at the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford, Canada.
 
Drewitz finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Drewitz defeated Ethan Jones (Regina, SK) 10-1, then won 13-3 against Rogan Snow (Saskatoon, SK). Drewitz went on to lose 11-4 against Lane Zuravloff (Yorkton, SK). Drewitz responded with a 9-6 win over Dayne Heisler (Moose Jaw, SK). Drewitz won 8-5 against Derksen. Drewitz went on to lose 8-5 against Derksen in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 31 of the event schedule, Drewitz did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 184th to 186th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 7.313 total points. Drewitz ranks 187th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.313 points earned so far this season.
